Asterion Suites & Spa - Designed For Adults - Platanias (Crete)

The spacious room offered an inviting garden view with a glimpse of the sea. Breakfast featured an really good selection, especially the cooked-to-order omelettes, and the relaxation at the spa was a highlight with attentive staff. The evening meals didn't meet expectations, with cocktails priced steeply and some drink options, like iced tea, falling short of the promised quality. The hotel's remote location might make vehicle rental advisable for exploring the area.

WiFi unfortunately disaster, hardly range and too slow. Bed mattress in the suite unfortunately only divided in two. At breakfast the freshly squeezed orange juice was missing and the breakfast is unfortunately only available until 10:00am. Otherwise we would be very satisfied.

Hotel's breakfast was fresh with juices, pastries plus all very delicious and could satisfy any taste. The location was peaceful and perfect for traveling around Platanias, near to the shore and the restaurants or on the beach.

The breakfast variety was sufficient and of good quality. Some additional details like freshly squeezed orange juice or hot cocoa would have been nice. The location was quiet and directly at the pebble beach with a beautiful view to the sea and the mountains.

Limited entertainment options could be an issue!!! Pool size feels inadequate during busy times!!! Inconsistent maintenance of public spaces affects overall experience!!! Prices for drinks and treatments seem excessive!!!

Beach is not free. It was surprise for us, because we thought hotel was 5 star. We did not see fruit for breakfast. It was first!!! Hotel did not have 24 service, night bar, transfer. It is not 5 star hotel! It is really!

The pool was good. The family room was big and comfortable. The hotel is very clean. The stuff is friendly. The hotel is quiet and located on the beach. Suitable for families with young kids

breakfast was lacking variety and not very tasty and the stuff was not big enough for the number of guests. The beach was beautiful but when we were there it was too rough and we couldn't swim. They asked for 2 euro a day for the safe which was anyway too small. It is not a 5 star hotel, more like a 4 star hotel

The location feels like a hidden gem. The tranquility made it a relaxing escape. The staff, especially the manager George, were really good, always attentive and friendly.

Some aspects, like the pool size during busy times, could be crowded, and the limited entertainment options left something to be desired. I wished for better soundproofing to avoid disturbances from the hallways.
